Opened in December 2011-- IBEROSTAR Cancun. Formerly the Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort, IBEROSTAR Cancun is currently closed as it undergoes multi-million dollar renovations. It is scheduled to reopen December 1. Key features of the resort include Cancun's only 18-hole golf course, five restaurants featuring a variety of cuisines, seven pools, a relaxing spa with eight private treatment rooms, Lucy's Kids Club with a kids water park, a teen club and a huge convention center.

Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta -- This all-inclusive, kids-free resort sits on the golden sands of Banderas Bay on Mexico's Pacific coast. It's a 5-star property with all-suite accommodations and offers an "Unlimited Luxury" experience. This includes access to seven restaurants, five bars and eight swimming pools, as well as poolside and beachfront waiter service, live nightly entertainment in the theater and an array of diversions, from snorkeling, kayaking and sailing to yoga and dance classes. Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula -- About 13 miles from Cancun's airport, this 5-star resort includes many amenities in its all-inclusive pricing. Work out in the gym, join a volleyball match, try windsurfing, kayak over crystal waters or check the kids into the RiuLand children's program, divided between ages 4 to 7 and 8 to 12. Guests can visit the buffets with on-the-spot cooking stations or sample one of the specialty restaurants serving Japanese, Italian, Mexican or steakhouse fare. Opened May 2012. SEE VIDEO
Disney's Art of Animation Resort -- This 3.5-star hotel is in the Orlando area of central Florida, and its creatively designed rooms and public spaces immerse guests in a few of the classic films of Walt Disney and Pixar. For example, you can book a Finding Nemo or Lion King family suite. The family suites accommodate up to six people and feature two bathrooms, a master bedroom and additional sleeping areas within the living room -- a full-size sleeper sofa and a table that converts to another full bed (it's a Murphy bed set in the wall; when you pull the bed down, the table folds underneath). There's also a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Standard rooms (sporting a Little Mermaid theme) are scheduled to be available in mid-September. Opened May 2012.
Secrets The Vine Cancun -- The signature element of this 5-star, all-inclusive retreat is the extensive collection of wines in its on-site cellar, or "enoteca," which provides tastings and food-and-wine pairings. The property offers a kids-free ambience, along with three infinity pools, nightly themed parties, 24-hour room service and land and water sports. Several a la carte restaurants provide a variety of cuisines, like Asian flavors at Dragons, steakhouse favorites at the Sea Salt Grill, pizzas from a stone oven at Nebbiolo and Mediterranean fare at Olio. Opened August 2012.
El Dorado Generations Maroma -- This 5-star, boutique resort is all-inclusive and located about 10 minutes north of Playa del Carmen on Mexico's Riviera Maya. It's well-suited for family groups and has 30 spacious suites, including beachfront, swim-up and one-, two- and three-bedroom accommodations. Families traveling with infants can take advantage of complimentary strollers, cribs, changing tables, baby monitors and bottle warmers. There's a kids' club for children ages 4 to 12. Head to the rooftop Sunset Bar for cocktails with views of the sea. Guests ages 16 and older also can use the facilities at neighboring El Dorado Maroma, a sister resort. Opened August 2012.
