Our Anniversary Trip with Tauck - Amalfi Coast & Rome Cruise

Hi Annette and John,

Just wanted to give you some feedback on our trip. It was fantastic!  Mark and I both said that we don't think we could top this trip. Steve and Melissa Weiler (the Tauck guides) were excellent.  They set up a tour for us to see Rome at night on our last night there since we really didn't get a chance to see it at night.

All the people on the trip were great and the "Yacht" Le Ponant was super.  You really do need to be in pretty good physical shape as you are going from the back of the yacht onto a zodiac as waves are bouncing you up and down.  Also,  there was a lot of steps (which my knees were very tired of climbing by the end of the week).

It was absolutely wonderful to not have to worry about tipping.

I don't think we ever went more than a couple of hours without being given some food.  Steve and Melissa would get some bakery goodies at different ports for us to eat on the bus.  There was no shortage of wine with lunch and dinner

Thanks for booking it for us.

  Great Parnassus in Cancun

Just wanted to take some time to Thank You.

We had a wonderful time in Cancun. The weather was perfect. Great Parnassus hotel was outstanding! the customer service, the food, the room and everything "in between" was perfect. Lomas travel agents also provided great service with transfers and excursions.

Dreams Villamagna Resort in Riviera Nayarit

My husband, John Gibson, and I traveled to the Dreams Villamagna Resort in Riviera Nayarit last month, and we had a great, relaxing, 17th anniversary celebration.  We were upgraded to the club floor.  There was a Happy Anniversary banner on our door, hibiscus floating in a drawn bubble bath, and a chilled bottle of champagne awaiting our arrival in our suite.  The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable we have experienced in a hotel.

We had room service breakfast on our balcony each morning, and sunset cocktails in our hot tub on the balcony each everning.  And, of course, the beach and warm pacific ocean and beautiful pools were beckoning to us each afternoon.

The food and service in Portofino and Oceana were wonderful.  The rooftop sushi bar/lounge (Gohan) had some good entertainment and was a very relaxing way to spend the later part of the evening.  We spent our last morning at the spa, and had the couples massage, which was amazing.  (We used our vouchers toward the massage, which made it a very affordable $60/30minute massage for two.)

We would recommend this intimate hotel to your other "baby boomer" customers from the Chicago area, who do not want to stay at a huge, monolithic hotel.  This was a modern, hip place, with a very service-oriented staff, and we would go back tomorrow if we could.

Regards,
